Seventh Grade Math Class was when they first laid eyes on each other, enjoyed each other’s company, and became best friends. Summer of 2007 and 2008, to each other’s surprise, they both ended up building a bond through hour long phone calls of silence and laughter. Through the six years of middle school and high school, Madison and Samira’s best friendship grew with the unspoken love they have for each other. After Graduation, they went on to live their advententures as individuals with a few “Hi’s” here and there; one pursued life as a Photographer and Musician, and the other as a Graphic Designer and Painter. 

 

          One night in 2016, Samira saw Madison’s name pop up on her phone. It was great to find that both were chasing the careers they loved. Madison then asked Samira if she can help him with a photoshoot coming up. That weekend, they met up and worked together so greatly that they continued their careers together. It was as if their connection to each other never left and built such a greater bond than they once had. A year later, the courage was built to let Madison know how Samira felt for him. But she couldn’t speak it; she needed to write it down on paper. On the cover of the Journal she wrote in, it read; 

 

             “For I know the Plans I have for you; Declares the Lord, Plans to Prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you Hope and a Future.” - Jeremiah 29:11

 

             She gave the Journal to Madison and the very next day, they began their life together on September 25, 2017. They kept writing passages to each other in the journal throughout their relationship. To organize thoughts that can’t be spoken easily. To self reflect and help each other’s growth. It’s one of the greatest communications they have; to grow together as individuals.

 

            Five years later, they still feel as if they were living in their first year together; full of Joy, Love, & Happiness. In celebrating that day today, we ask that YOU show your love and support in throwing the rose petals laid out in front of you as we are pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Alam. 

 

           We believe in writing down every big moment, every great emotion, every failure as they lead us to every success. Living in love, joy, and happiness. That’s why we gift you with these pocket journals. So that you may draw or write every adventure you wish to hold forever through the eyes of an earlier happiness.
