The first time I told you I loved you, we were moving to the Ninth Grade from the Eighth in Summer. You responded by calling me an Idiot and hanging up. That's my favorite story because you didn't know what I knew then, I just didn't know how far we could go. We've changed so much, yet even in times when we were apart, we changed together. Only God can plan a Union that perfect.
We've learned a lot these past few years through both pain and joy; the effects they can create. We've learned to spot regression and progression time and time again with each other. But most of all, we've learned how to control change, to adapt, and to grow. It's not easy but it's necessary and that's my vow to you, I vow that no matter what circumstances we may find ourselves in, I will change the problems we see, adapt to the environment we create, so that we can grow in love together always. Until the day we head home, I will do this with all my respect, all of my protection, and all my faith.
And I also vow to always put the toilet seat down...but only if you put your stuff away when you're done using it. I'm pretty sure everyone would be surprised to hear I'm the neat one.
